The ex-Mátra - cinema for children -, one of the many cinemas along side the Ringroad.
It seats 126 persons, holds three screenings day of which at least one film is in its original version. Translation is provided by subtitles or voice-over through earphones. Screening time: 16.30, 18.30 and 20.30.
A nice cafeteria and a bookstore is located in the lobby.
The gallery upstairs is a perfect place for video projections, meetings and talks with filmmakers and other guests.
Books, periodicals and various other publications by the Hungarian Film Institute are sold at the cashier where the monthly programme brochure of the cinema can also be found.
Ticket prices may vary between HUF 250 and 400 Pre-purchased membership card (HUF 2000 a year) gives 25% off the actual ticket price.
