Uránia National Film Theatre

Uránia Cinema opened in Rákóczi Street on 1 April 2002, after several years of break.
The new name is Urania National Film Theatre.
The large auditorium can seat 429 people, while Csortos and Fábri halls 60 people.
The restoration of the building was carried out by Mányi Építész Stúdió Kft., and led by István Mányi.
At the opening ceremony Csaba Káel's Governor Bánk was on the menu, but the premier of Géza Bereményi's The Man of The Bridge was also held here.
The smaller replica of Chain Bridge was built in front of the entrance for the celebration.
Our photographer Balázs Horváth arrived just in time to take a photo of it, since the papier-maché bridge with the lions could stand there only between 2 April and 18 April.
You can see it here.
